Duane Beswick – Ranch Owner
Duane is a very successful businessman from Southern California that relocated to the area a few years back and fell in love with the idea of riding cutting horses and having his own ranch when he finally retires.
He met a long time cowboy named Cliff and the rest is history. Once he was hooked they scouted for a location to purchase and soon found this beautiful 40-acre ranch. It has been a work in progress ever since.
Duane is married to his beautiful and lovely bride Debbie.
Cliff Hidalgo – Trainer and Ranch Manager
Cliff has had a lifetime passion for horses starting at the age of 5 years old. He has been training horses for over 45 years and has experience in so many areas of equestrian field.
He has trained professional rope horses, barrel horses and reining cow horses. For the past 15-years he has specialized in working with cutting horses. He just has a passion for horses and loves training riders of all ages.
His responsibilities besides training includes running the entire Morning Star Farm ranch. Upwards of 30 horses and about a dozen bison and cows. To say it’s a full time job is an understatement.
Cliff lives on the property with his beautiful wife Iris.
